    I had an appointment in nearby Vincents recently and stayed the night before at the Herbert Park. I found the hotel very clean and comfortable and the location was perfect and easy to get to. Some friends joined me in the bar in the evening and we all enjoyed our food. Will stay again for my next appointment.

    We had a really wonderful stay at the Herbert Park hotel. The late check-out at 2PM allowed for a relaxing morning after our paper had been delivered to our room early morning, as requested. The standard and choice of food offered for breakfast, also delivered to our room was excellent-hot food, great variety and all the little extras provided. We will stay here again when we return to Dublin.

Donnybrook

Donnybrook is situated on the southside of the city, in the Dublin 4 , and is home to the Irish state broadcaster RTÉ. It was once part of the Pembroke Township. Its neighbouring suburbs are Ballsbridge, Sandymount , Ranelagh and Clonskeagh .

Donnybrook was once the location of Donnybrook Fair, a fair held from the time of King John onwards, that gave rise to the term a donnybrook, meaning a brawl or fracas.


Donnybrook is also the traditional home of rugby union in Leinster.
