    I had an appointment in nearby Vincents recently and stayed the night before at the Herbert Park. I found the hotel very clean and comfortable and the location was perfect and easy to get to. Some friends joined me in the bar in the evening and we all enjoyed our food. Will stay again for my next appointment.

    We had a really wonderful stay at the Herbert Park hotel. The late check-out at 2PM allowed for a relaxing morning after our paper had been delivered to our room early morning, as requested. The standard and choice of food offered for breakfast, also delivered to our room was excellent-hot food, great variety and all the little extras provided. We will stay here again when we return to Dublin.

Ranelagh

Ranelagh is situated south of Dublin city centre and the Grand Canal, between Rathmines to the West and Donnybrook to the East. Clonskeagh and Milltown lie further South, along the Dodder River, via the Sandford Road. It is served by the Luas Green Line, stopping at Ranelagh and Beechwood, and by many bus routes. It is within walking distance of the Dart line at Lansdowne Road and Grand Canal Dock.

Milltown, another suburb located on the Southside of Dublin is marked by a spectacular 19th century railway bridge across the river, which was part of the Harcourt Street railway line which ran from Harcourt Street to Bray.


The bridge was re-opened for the Luas which runs from Stephen's Green to Sandyford. This bridge, and sometimes the area immediately surrounding it, became known informally as the 'Nine Arches'.

Herbert Park Hotel is conveniently located near Ranelagh and Milltown.
