    I had an appointment in nearby Vincents recently and stayed the night before at the Herbert Park. I found the hotel very clean and comfortable and the location was perfect and easy to get to. Some friends joined me in the bar in the evening and we all enjoyed our food. Will stay again for my next appointment.

    We had a really wonderful stay at the Herbert Park hotel. The late check-out at 2PM allowed for a relaxing morning after our paper had been delivered to our room early morning, as requested. The standard and choice of food offered for breakfast, also delivered to our room was excellent-hot food, great variety and all the little extras provided. We will stay here again when we return to Dublin.

Sandymount

Sandymount is located only a short stroll from the city centre and a mere 25 minute walk from Herbert Park Hotel .

Sandymount has a great deal to offer including many restaurants and bars for all the family, with other facilities including a flood lit Astro hockey pitch, five all-weather flood lit tennis courts and six grass courts, a full-size bowling green, two soccer pitches, a cricket ground and a full-size rugby pitch.


Sandymount Green is a tiny triangular park at the heart of the village first enclosed and laid out during the early-1800s. Although not technically green, Sandymount Strand is a favourite promenading place for locals. Stretching for approximately 1 kilometre along the Strand Road, provides outstanding views over Sandymount Strand to Poolbeg, Irishtown Nature Park and Dun Laoghaire.
