Meandering alongside the River Dodder, Ballsbridge offers the rare charm of a traditional Irish village with the benefit of being just 3km from Dublin city centre. Named after the Ball family who built the original bridge there in the 1500s, the area later flourished under the watchful eye of the Earl of Pembroke.
